Making A Wish

More rain today so I took a quick shot of the waterlogged dandelions in my backyard. This is really good when viewed larger!

Today is my mom's birthday ~ she would have been 85. Mom was an artist, a gardener, a musician of sorts and a visionary, a bit of a bohemian before her time, but what meant most to her was being a mother. That's what she told me the day before she passed from this world. She taught me lots of useful things but making a wish upon the dandelion spores was one of my favorites. My wish for her is that she is resting peacefully in the fullness of love.
