Black-crowned Tchagra (Tchagra senegala)

We heard a loud bang outside earlier this morning and when R sr took Milo and Chino out, he discovered this little beauty, sitting on the paving, quite confused and bewildered. There was clear markings on the window, and we knew he must have collided with the window and fell to the ground! :-(

R rescued him and brought him inside to recover in the small bird's cage, but when we decided he has calmed down enough and he can be released, he could not gain height, he only flew about 30cm above the ground. Joe caught him again and we decided to put him in the big bird's cage for a couple days, let's keep fingers crossed! He is gorgeous!
