Sunday 6 May 2012: Not so Incy Wincy!

I've just returned from a lovely shift on the birth unit which started with discharging home a mum and her new baby girl, Annabelle. It was so satisfying to see her hand in hand with her partner and elder daughter ready to start a new chapter in their life. Later this afternoon i admitted a girl who did fantastically well and had a lovely waterbirth of her first baby. Her partner did make some remark about getting in the water with his snorkel which i laughed off as a joke...little did i know he'd come prepared! Thankfully she was very quick and he had no time to get in so spared me my blushes. Here's the evidence! :-)
I always struggle for a blip after so long a shift, but the girls yesterday said i should snap things at work...i'm not sure this was exactly what they had in mind though! ;-)
