Saturday 5 May 2012: Sculpture
Today i visited the National Memorial Arboretum, a very moving and sobering place, with Lucie and Kate. We met for lunch first so Lucie could mop up some of the excess from her girls night out. Sorry Luc but i had to get my own back for you making me blush ;-)
This was one of the many impressive sculptures from around the grounds. Definitely a place to return to, preferably on a warm sunny day!
We then called in another pub on the way home to gorge on pudding. All in all a lovely day spent with 2 lovely people.
Off on my hols a week today...sorry Kate ;-)
