Tuesday 8 May 2012: New Picture or Old Picture?

Taken today or forty years ago? Well, of course, because it's a blip obviously it was taken today, as I wouldn't break the rules, but the old ice cream van in front of the Royal Scottish Academy on The Mound in Edinburgh could have been taken forty years ago I think. Another picture taken on the way to Tuesday football. Only five-a-side this week so a very different game. We were rather muscled out of it this week, not entirely legally at times, with most of our team in the wars at one point or other. Elbow to head, barged to the ground, pushed in the back, not to mention a deliberate handball in the middle of the pitch to stop us breaking away. A referee would probably have sent one or two of them off, but as it was we struggled to keep on level terms, ultimately unsuccessfully. Ah well, there's always next week.
