Poplars

The poplars at the seed farm on the Old West Coast Road have lost nearly all their leaves. There are row after row of these thin windbreaks with the level tops. You can see two more rows beyond where the straight lines mark their tops.

I went to Christchurch and picked up my new glasses. They are better than my old ones. This is a great relief after the run around I had at the other place. They just feel a bit strange, but I'll get used to that. I also had a long session of physiotherapy on my shoulder, and I brought home a blood pressure monitor that my doctor wants me to use to see if my blood pressure is as high at home as it is when I drive to town. Oh dear.
