John the Baptist

Grim day out in the field today as it rained proverbial cats and dogs. Stumbled across Glenkiln Sculpture Park late morning. Local landowner Sir William Keswick assembled a collection of six works by Auguste Rodin, Henry Moore and Jacob Epstein and sited them in the local landscape. After a bit of research it appears this one is by Rodin, he of 'The Thinker' fame. Seems apt.
