Chaffinch with new lens.

A parcel was delivered today with my birthday present in it- it is not my birthday till the 21st. I thought it was best if I tried it to make sure it had survived the transit. As you can see it works perfectly- whoo new lens . Now all I have to do is convince the hubby I need to try it again tomorrow - just to make sure.

The lens I have been using before is a 18-70 so I had to get really close to the subject. Quite tricky when it is a wild bird.

PS this is quite good large as there is detail in the feathers on the head and lower body.
