this place was possibly the highlight of the holiday for both of us. we found this little place by accident whilst on route to st agnes. we had no idea what was going to be down this narrow lane until we got there. we parked up and went for a little explore. lets just say it was worth the £3 to park. the beach was stunning, and after about twenty minutes the weather lifted and we could see everything clearly. huge rock faces with caves to look inside, old tin mines up on the hills above, the beautiful blue sea, this place is a must!

i always thought i was quite claustrophobic until i ventured inside some of the caves and holes. i found i was more bothered by the dark than anything else! in some of them water was running in through the ceiling, splashing onto us and the rocks, and several of the caves were linked together if you went far enough inside. very interesting stuff, recommended!
