Saturday 11 October 2008: Morning Mist at Clark Farm

Here's another New England autumn landscape for you. I knew today was going to be another sunny, beautiful day, so I got up early and headed out. Most of the fields in town still had some low-lying mist. This is a local farm, viewed from the back. I think it has a quintessential New England look about it. When I took the photo, I wasn't so sure about the shadows on the field, but if the sun were shining on it, the mist wouldn't be there. I kind of like the mist in the shadows.

Thanks again, everyone, for the comments on yesterday's blip. I'm amazed at the reaction <blush>.
