The Ben

We headed to Fortwilliam and Neptune's staircase.

I headed off on my bike and ended up cycling from there to the top of Glen Nevis. The rain tried to dampen my spirits, but I got to the top and met Ally with Claudette for lunch. It was very welcome.

We tried to spend some mone in Fortwilliam, but unusually failed.

The road to Spean Bridge was shut due to a bad accident, so it was tea time when we arrived at the hotel with the "Chip shop". It would have been rude not to partake of their wares and jolly good they are to.

We were heading for a wild site looking over to Ben Nevis, but we decided on a late dash down the road, so we could start on the garden in the morning.
