Raining blossom
The Cherry blossom didn't stand a chance with the torrential downpours today.
A better day today and I was up and helping Ally sand and varnish the windows. Good news is that we are over half way there. Only 9 more coats of varnish to go!
Had a wee emergency call out by Mr.R to transport his friend home to see if his wee bro had indeed knocked his head off. The ambulance made it there before me, so all we were left with, was a very blood spattered cream carpet to clean.
That was fun!
Luckily the wee bro survived with some staples to his head and a change in personality, saying how thankful he was to his big bro, Mr.R and myself. Aw! I'm sure he'll stay that way..............as if.
The evening was spent enjoying a young group of very nice people in the garden, eating strawberries, popcorn and Magners with ice.
We stayed out of earshot and I managed to stop Ally annoying them, that was until he threw a ball of paper at Mr.R and missed. One of the girls, (note there was more than one) is doing photography at college. She left with a blip address card in her pocket. I hope she will be blipping ASAP.
Sitting with a glass of red trying to upload to a very slow blip site earlier, so gave up and now trying again.
Fingers crossed.
All in all a much better day than yesterday.
