Rabbit Roundabout

In Gloucester we have a VERY busy traffic island which has a colony of rabbits living on it.
They've been there for years and years, no-one seems to know when they first appeared but the rabbit holes can be clearly seen, particularly on one side of the island which faces Barnwood Road to the south east of it.
The wicker rabbits were commissioned by the Council and are stored during the winter and put on the roundabout Springtime until late Autumn.

The traffic island is on the ring road near where the old Walls Ice Cream factory was, still there but a fraction of it's size in the good old days, and with the Royal Mail sorting office on another corner.

There's lots of rabbitsg, particularly baby ones at the moment, but in this shot you can see one in the background behind the tall, standing up, wicker rabbit.
I did get one with lots of traffic around the traffic island but the rabbits were indistinct so thought this one would be better.
