Llantysillio Mountain

We are embedded in North Wales nr Lllangollen for the week enjoying a bit of r + r for the New Year.  We have a quite lovely cottage with open fire.  today started clear early on but it soon misted over along the River Dee valley.  We park up at Glyndyfrdwy and set off along the River Dee before heading up hill onto the hills that from Llantysillio Mountain.  After about 10mins climbing the mist thinned to reveal a clear blue sky and a most magical cloud inversion with all the Welsh hills sticking out of the low lying mists.  Snowdon and Cadair Idris were all plan to see.  This is what days out on the hills are made for. lets hope the weather stays fine and the snow stays.
