Wednesday 16 May 2012: On Top of Old Smoky
I took myself off to the Howgills for a midweek break to camp out on the hilltops, under the stars, watch the sunset, the sunrise, just relax in simplicity and solitude for an evening :o)
Not that I'm antisocial!
I camped on the Summit of Green Bell. There was a promise of a great sunset, and maybe there was somewhere, but I didn't see it, as the clouds rolled in carried across the sky on a cold wind.
It stayed dry and I had a good time getting photo's here and there before turning in for a relatively early night at about 10pm.
I'm overwhelmed by the response to I Skipped with Glee to Blip this Tree! Truly :o) Thanks!
