Base of the College chimney stack – looks almost rocket like. You can see the line of the welds, where those fins were extended, and more bolts were added. That was back in 2010, after the original fixings started breaking up, and the stack was wobbling about after a gale. It's been painted since then too.

Lovely day. Cycled into town for a few bits-n-bobs. Popped into work briefly... or that was the plan. A huge delivery needed shifted upstairs. Several pallet loads  later, and a few other chores, I headed off for a swim. On the return journey, the North Kessock lifeboat was sitting outside the station, so I took a detour after the bridge, down for a look, and a photo or two.
