Thursday 17 May 2012: Kicking Out Time
Seems I'll be dependent on iPhone blips for the next few days. After 30 minutes hanging on the phone, a chappy answered to tell me my modem looked offline. An engineer will need to call. The earliest he can come is Monday AM.
What did people do before the Internet? How did they keep in touch? Maybe I should write a letter and send it to Dotty. And then again, there's the new copy of Fairwind to start crafting; and some political chuff on TV tonight. I'll survive. Better keep my glasses handy for this tiny screen though. Talking of glasses, I see a wheat beer in the fridge. And......less than 48 hours to go!!!! Eeeeek!!!
