Tied Up

As I drove into town I stopped by a gate. It's a location that's given me a few blips before. I took some shots of the landscape, trying to keep the modern gate out of the shot.

Soon I got more interested in the gate and its baler twine method of closure than the landscape.

I had been hoping that the evening would be clear enough for some star shots but the moon made the sky far too bright. We could have done with moonlight earlier when our electricity went off for a couple of hours.
