The Last Unicorn

The 2012 Bradford Lord Mayor's Parade saw us in the parade as 7yo and 4yo's school, along with other schools in the district, were involved.

A lot of people seemed to have worked hard on preparing costumes and carnival artefacts like fibreglass corgis (this being a Diamond Jubilee themed parade). We only wish there had been some people working hard on preparing the route of the parade, as for every two minutes we spent parading, we spent ten minutes standing still, and there was at least one wrong turn.

Still, it's not everyday that you get to see, as 4yo put it, a "real live unicorn" wandering the streets of Bradford. And yes, there was a lion too.
