I'm at risk of plagiarising myself here, but @jinglyjan's lovely forget-me-not blip from a couple of weeks ago reminded me of the potential of this spring flower.

I was back in St. John's graveyard seeing if the Speckled Woods had emerged yet, but there was no sign. Instead I was drawn once again to the potential of overgrown headstones.

It was warm enough to lure out a few butterflies today; Large and Small White and Small Tortoiseshell were flitting about.
