Light and darkness

Sunrise today brought mixed feelings. Another lovely morning to be up and about, thank God. 
There was also light in the fact that I found a new long-term home for my recent guest — one where I know he'll be very well looked after. But his leaving left a bit of sadness, too. But I'm grateful for his light while I had him around.
