How oft' do my thoughts …

I managed to get to Cork today! Though I live in West Cork now — where I was also born — I did spent a big chunk of my life living in and working in various parts of the city. People often ask which I prefer and I have to say with honesty that I feel equally at home in both.
The city was lovely today in the clear sunshine — this view of it was taken from the top of the Merchants Quay car park looking across the river towards Shandon, the North Cathedral and the telephone exchange in Churchfield with Camden Quay in the foreground.
