Making Things

This morning I had the pleasure and honour of visiting the Jaguar/Land Rover factory in Speke, Merseyside. What a success story this is. We were told about the ongoing investment at the factory both in terms of the people and new productions lines. We saw the cars being assembled and the pride of the workforce in the products they were producing.

More workers are being taken on and production is being increased to meet the worldwide demand. We should all be very proud of what is being achieved here. Particularly in these difficult times.

This afternoon I met up with my daughter who is home for a few days. We had a lovely walk by the river.
