Was It Really So Long Ago

Running Free

After a rather large Sunday breakfast out, we decided the weather was too fine to stay indoors all day and I suggested to the family that we combine a spot of geocaching, walking and trim trailing at Furze Hill.

We couldn't visit without dropping in on Old Knobbley of course, recently crowned Prince of Trees, in England's First Tree of the Year competition. Old Knobbley came second place missing the top title by just 465 votes to the winner, the Major Oak of Robin Hood fame.

Here you can see Master H loving the open air and exploring a clearing in the woods, while his sisters played nearby. Such a lovely February day. I hope you've enjoyed your weekends all!
