Spring fading into summer...

...the signs are there, even if you don't pay attention to the weather. The vibrant blush of the lilac is fading, and the daisies are starting to colonise the lawn - both sure indicators!

I decided to get another blip of the lilac before it disappears again for the year. Always my favourite, and such a heavenly scent. Am not sure it is so fashionable now - doubt we'll see it in any of the Chelsea Flower Show coverage this week - but a stunner in my book every time.
