Milky Way from the hot tub

In awe of the skies. Stargazing on an icy cold February night from the warmth of the hot tub on the decking of a Little Abode, in the crofting village of Clachtoll in the west coast of Scotland.

And in the darkness, a 2000 year old broch and the Atlantic to our right, the beautiful mountains of Assynt to our left, Stoer lighthouse catching the light behind us and Split Rock, giving Clachtoll it's name, in front of us. And no light pollution. Just darkness and millions of stars. And the odd glass of bubbly fizz.

Without doubt, the best Friday we've ever had.
