Last shot of the day

Checked out the Bay of Clachtoll, then up to Stoer lighthouse, Great Northern Diver, Wheatear, Twite and distant Black Guillemot. Back to the chalet for a late lunch and while looking out on the bay added three more birds to the "chalet list" - Buzzard, Black Guillemot & Golden Eagle.

Decided to head back to Stoer lighthouse to try and get better pictures of the Black Guillemot, also decided to take along the rather pink garden chairs for a bit added comfort. So there we were dressed in full winter gear, sat on the pink chairs seawatching, ah the joys of Scotland in May. The Black Guillemots were closer in and I got a reasonable picture of four of them together, there was a nice flyby by a Great Skua (bad bird, but good picture), but today's shot was the last shot of the day, a Whimbrel flyby not witnessed by Mrs L who had retreated to the car to try and warm up.
