Thursday 24 May 2012: Voor Mama
My Mam's celebrating her 89th birthday today - she was anyway, as I'm pretty sure she's in bed by now. I called her around lunchtime - dinnertime in her part of the world, and she said she was having a lovely day. For that I'm happy - it's bad enough I can't see her on her birthday but the thought of her NOT having a lovely day is much worse.
Because she loves flowers I waited until the light on the peonies was just right this morning. And was late for work :)
