Tussock Tales

Dawn in the MacKenzie

From our correspondent Tiny Tussock reporting from Christchurch.
T is not available at present as she is having a break at THC (Tussocks Holiday Camp) as The Boss needed to go North to pick up SUZ which is T's new transport. Anyway a very early morning start found The Boss in the MacKenzie basin which is an area that used to be a beautiful canvas of arid beauty but has been transformed by irrigation to a highly productive dairy farming area now.
This pic is of one of the area's biggest pivot irrigator (about 1 KM long). For those who don't know what a pivot irrigator is it rotates around a central point which in this case would be the centre of a 1km radius circle. Yes it's big
