It ain’t half hot mum!!

Today is Freemantle.

Our trip today was to Yanchep National Park, which is 51 kilometers from Perth, a trip of 63 kilometers for us. The sunny skies and 74 degrees F (83 degrees C) made for a hot sticky trip in a coach without air conditioning!!

We saw some koalas, kangeroos and an assortment of birds. Whilst having lunch there was a kookaburra on a table in the garden, eyeing up someone’s lunch. It had gone by the time I got outside, otherwise I could have had the 3 K’s.

The koala’s were sitting / hanging on to higher branches of the eucalyptus trees to keep in the shade and so difficult to photograph, but this little soul climbed down when the area quietened down and we were the only ones there.  He looks so sleepy in his fur coat :0)

Birthday boy, Tom, has been missing from dinner since his birthday event, as he has a cold and nasty cough. He made it down to dinner this evening, a bit subdued, but reassuring us that he is on the mend.

I’ve loaded two days blips in quick succession, so you may have missed Busselton.

We have limited internet access via satellite, so I’m not able to catch up on everyone’s blips and comment. I will catch up later, promise :0)
