Sunday 27 May 2012: Identity Crisis
What with the Wee County looking and feeling like someone's shoved it 30 degrees nearer the equator, the sound of leather on willow making us look all anglified and that plus a 1930s steam train trundling through the middle of the whole scene, there's a bit of multiple personality thing going on around here just now.
All that, and it turns out maybe I am a trainspotter after all.*
With all this blue sky and sunshine I think we've spent more hours this weekend outside than in. We even turned the telly around and pointed it outside last night so we could all sit around and cringe and point and laugh at the Eurovision 'chums at the plums' Song non-Contest whilst drinking beer and melting marshmallows over a fire.
It's going to be a shock to the system going back to work tomorrow I think.
*That's an obvious exaggeration, there are people on here that are MUCH more proficient at trainspottery than me.
