Monday 28 May 2012: The Little Cloud That Could

Ah well, it had to break sometime I suppose. Seven consecutive days of steady sun and above average temperatures is pretty good for a place where the phrase "If ye dinnae like the weather, wait five minutes" is often bandied about.

This was the only little fluffy cloud around at 11:30 today; by 5pm the hills were drawing them over and now at 9 the sky's a flat grey and a few miles north of us there are Metoffice warnings of heavy and thundery rain.

Time to put the long trousers back on I guess.
