West Cork Massive

The West Cork massive hit Kinsale today, many thanks to Riana for getting us organised. We gathered at Charles Fort just outside Kinsale, a colossal and imposing star shaped fort erected by Charles II in the 1680s, then we meandered along the cliff's edge and lo and behold the sun came out. The gorse was vivid and coconutty, primroses and wild strawberries clustered  in the hedgerows and posh yachts sailed in the turquoise sea below us. We finished the day off in a pub in Scilly which was doing a roaring trade- I could gladly have settled in for the evening.
In attendance:
Michael
RPI
Himself
Bat  and her wwoofer Elizabeth
Burkey
and I was dangling on the cliff edge to take this.

I shall be absent for a few days as we're heading off to the wilds of Kerry. Derelict Thursday will continue as usual but Lynnfot will be in charge. See you soon.
