Osprey Tends Garden

What a lovely morning out at Sauvie Island, before the rain started!  I was able to get a lot of territory covered, and was so glad that I went out to Rentenaar Road.  That's where I stumbled on both an immature bald eagle and this lovely osprey (also known as a fish eagle) sitting on the nest.  I so loved the sweet flowrs growing...a spring garden :))

There were lots of sandhill cranes flying by and the usual suspects, eagle and more eagles.  The three hours flew by quikly, but when the rain came in it was time to pack up and head home.
