Cleaning up after winter - 24 March

Whenever it snowed in winter gravel was scattered on the pavements. When the snow turned icy more gravel was scattered.
When the snow all melts, as it has done in town, the gravel is left, forming a thick layer over the pavement.
Eventually, once the authorities reckon that the snow is not returning out come the machines to sweep up all that gravel.
In this picture they seem to be half-way through the job.
Last spring I blipped the machines in action on 15 April. This year it was the 24 March - a sign of how little snow has fallen this winter and how much warmer than usual it has been all through the winter.
Blipped in Härnösand as I walked down to the station to get the train to Ånge for our LRC meeting.
