A PAIR OF CORMORANTS FLYING

above the shore of the North Sea.
Mischa, Piet Hein and I headed to the sea for a long walk. The sky totally blue, what a lovely Easter treat. No wind to talk of, a sea so blue as one remembered of the Mediteranean coasts. I like that.
As a child I hated the grey water and in my memory the water looked always grey.
We walked there where it was so wonderful quiet, just us, the waves and the gulls. And now and then cormorants flying above the water.

My haiku:

Follow me the message
Was and I did not hesitate
Just go for the blue

And the quote by George Jean Nathan in "Test of a comedian", 1929:

The test of a real comedian is whether you laugh at her/him before she/he opens her/his mouth.
