THE HERON AT THE UITHOF PARK

where Mischa and I came through on our way to the Gamma DIY shop.
The day did look mostly grey and dull, but when we cycled a little blue at the horizon.
When we had returned, small tasks awaited us. But with nice consequences when done.
Tomorrow Piet Hein and I will travel back to our home in the Weser Uplands.

My haiku:

The big eyed heron
Turning left and right hungry
On her quivive

And the quote by Emerson in his Journals, 1830:

There is ever a slight suspicion of the burlesque about earnest, good men.
