Wednesday 30 May 2012: play on - Musical May 30
This morning started with a trip to the eye hospital. I only went for a check up, but it was part of the clinic so it took a looooooong time to be seen. I was bored, i'll admit it, there's little to be done when your eyes have been dilated! However there were some less patient patients in the queue to see the consultant. One ahem gentleman, stormed into the consultants room mid consultation with another patient and shouted at him about the wait and why he hadn't been seen yet. The consultant tried to explain that there had been two emergencies that morning, and that it was a full clinic, but the patient wasn't interested. Thankfully I was seen almost immediatly so I didn't have to be involved in the battle of the waiting room anymore.
Mr Pink took the day off to look after Miss Pink while i was at the hospital, and they had a lovely time at the park. Miss Pink has learnt the phrase "best friend" and is using it quite liberally with any child who will play with her for more than thirty seconds. Today she has had two best friends, both complete strangers who happened to join in with her games at the playground!
We had a naughty pizza lunch together before coming home to get Master Pink for his swimming lesson. We reached the swimming pool in enough time to have a play at the park. I took this shot of Master Pink and Mr Pink at the top of the pirate climbing frame! Play on boys...play on.
