Looking as good as new!

"Man talks about shed" shocker... This is our garden summerhouse, refreshed this week with several coats of a very dark green wood preserver, and decorated with bunting, a lovely hand-made present from my sister. Caught out last summer by the lack of decent weather (having ignored the excellent opportunities offered by fine Spring weather), I've been making the most of the past fortnight. Wood certainly soaked up the wood preserver well when the sun had warmed and opened up the wood's structure. This isn't a deliberate Diamond Jubilee weekend preparation but, being on holiday for the long weekend of the forthcoming celebrations, at least our summerhouse is ready for fun!
