Mountain Light and Social Standards

The Boss took me up Mt Iron this morning and I couldn’t help but notice that things seem to have changed since I was last there.

We were passed by 2317.5 teens. (one of them was overly small)
Of the Girls 93.5 % were clutching smartphones in their hands
1 had a water bottle (empty)
1 had a pair of sunglasses in her hand. (it was a completely dull day)
NONE of the Boys  had visible phones but of course they had pockets.

1… You look ridiculous staggering up a mountain clutching a phone.
2… You look equally odd staggering up a mountain with a handbag.

I believe that true equality will not be achieved until the girls have proper pockets to put their phones in.

This shall be known as “The Tussock Edict” and be passed down for all eternity or until female fashion changes whichever comes first.

At 8557 steps (double that for ME) the Mt Iron track is a must for Blippers next weekend and the complete circle took us about 90 minutes with lots of Chat stops and Photo stops and Have a Breath stops and the route takes you past Puzzling World which is also well worth a visit for coffee and confusion.

The Boss’s iPhone said we had climbed 50 floors too and shot a great Pano from half way up the front.

Pawscript… I recommend going UP the front and DOWN the bark cos the track is shingly up the front and easy to slip on coming down. Even with 4 paws.

THIS is posted early as The Bossess is taking The Boss out for their Wedding Anniversary thingie ( They have got married 40 times which seems a lot to me) Dogs have a lot more flexibility in these things AND The Boss has refused to comment.

Brarking News  I have just found out that raine (who I thought was) may not be coming to the Blipmeet. PLEASE Bark at her about this as I really want to meet her.
