HAWESWATER

I did not take this photo, being unfortunately confined to the house. It could have been the scallops or prawns, who knows. But we had planned to go to Haweswater to look for England's resident Golden Eagle and it was a beautiful day so G went on his own, and saw it.

But G, who never generally touches a camera, took the photo I would have taken anyway of my favourite view over Haweswater. And the spot where I have requested my ashes be scattered, with apologies to the inhabitants of Manchester if the wind carries me as far as their water supply.

By the afternoon I had recovered from my malady and sat outside in the sun, listening to  the birds and reading my book. It ended up a lovely, peaceful day.

Thank you G.
