Naughty squirrel

It was really foggy and dull first thing but then it all sparkled again. I wasn't going to waste this, so I headed off to see how the bluebells were doing in Jubilee Wood.  (for locals, this is a free Woodland Trust reserve which can be just as spectacular as the Yoxall bluebell walk and you don't have to pay. Mind you, Yoxall have the most marvellous cakes )

The best photo opportunities were the ones that got away - as ever. I was struggling to capture a Peacock butterfly shot when I realised that there was a bunny only inches away from me. It ran off.  Later, I rounded a corner and another bunny got away.

One yellow-tipped white butterfly - but it headed off away from me. A speckled wood (but I got a shot).

But the naughty squirrels who were raiding the feeders were quite blatant and I managed to sneak a few pics before they decided to play somewhere else.
