Friday 1 June 2012: Pudgy

I guess the only times American Robins resemble their European namesakes is when they have just flown the nest but still have some of their baby fuzz. And pudginess.
This was the most relaxed, un-bothered bird I have ever met. It sat less than 5 feet away from me, just hanging out, picking at the soil a bit.
Oh, and we officially have a backyard bunny. It sat underneath the butterfly bushes.

Today was the end of a trying week. I feel frazzled in every which way possible, but I survived and I only cried once. No wait, twice. It must be a personal record.
It was also day 2 of nothing-but-rain. I'm not at all opposed to that going away!
