Allendale's Strongest Man 2012

'Contenders you will go on my first h-whistle, Gladiators you will go on my second h-whistle'. Unfortunately, neither of these contestants were the overall winner, who was rather large! by the way, but this snap seems to capture the Annual May Fair competition well. There were some big guys taking part & they really put themselves through it, it was a great effort!

The karaoke didn't really take off to be honest, Simon Cowell didn't turn up for one. There was a hog roast & everything!

Only in the central square of a rural village in the North-East would this spectacle take place. Brilliant!
