Jersey what I did there?

Jenny lovingly volunteered to take Lauren to Exeter this morning for her chorister duties, leaving me with the delightful opportunity of taking the morning at a slower pace.

Later on in the morning, once Jen had run the Exeter gauntlet, with Suze we made the short trip to Cullompton to visit Mark, Clare, Izzy & Jack, to deliver Doodles the Jersey Cow, lovingly named by Izzy. Jenny & Suze had a nice time entertaining the kids & if it wasn't for this sweet shot of Izzy & Jack, I would have a funny picture of them all playing with jigsaws, an Etch-a-Sketch & in Izzy's mini kitchen - I think Jen & Suze would have been on the embarrassed side to say the least, so it's just as well Jack & Izzy are so sweet. Jack seemed to like his Cow too, so that's another knitted success!

Back to Kentisbeare for some lunch & The Hunger Games, as Suze had been dying to watch it. Alan & Clare returned from London town, & it was nice to catch up with them too before the weekend was over.

Now, all that awaits is the not so short trip back home - the joys of spending the weekend away!

A fab & very enjoyable weekend. I'm sure we'll be back before long.
