Zorlu Centre, Istanbul

After helping backstage at the afternoon performance of the Latin Dance Festival,  at 5pm I went to the Zorlu Centre -  fun palace of glass and mirrors disguised as a shopping mall - with neighour-friend Celeste for some wandering about with my camera, followed by a glass of wine and a salad at Eataly on their outside terrace with a Bosphorus view. We liked the wine so much that we then went into the shop and bought eight bottles of the stuff!  Celeste also bought four very large, hand blown margarita glasses, so of course once home at 9pm we had to try them out with her latest recipe that uses pomegranate rather than lemon juice and crushing all that ice took us way past the witching hour of midnight when I was just about able to climb the wooden hill.

btw - beautiful weather - warm sunshine and breeze.  The photo is of the ceiling in one of the indoor thoroughfares.
