Time for a hug

A visit from our niece, oh yeh, and her parents. A good wander later and we stopped off for some coffee and cake - maybe not such a great idea in retrospect for one of us anyway. Loopy Lorna's slices are pretty generous (bit of an under exaggeration), so we left with the remainder of our chocolate and Victoria sponge door steps. However, someone managed to annihilate their chocolate door step only to crash shortly afterwards due to sugar overload with a side of stuffed-fullness.*

Spent the evening in an old university haunt for a retro feeling 30th bash. Hope you made it home ok Rob. While on the topic of 30ths - hope you had a great night too Jamie, apologies, hope to catch up soon.





* I've since heard (Sunday around noon) that there has been no need for food since the chocolate door step, that's value for money.
