I spent the morning exploring the Botero museum, named after one of Colombia's most famous artists. Botero's style is to make everyone and everything look larger than life, sometimes to make humorous political statements and sometimes just for jokes. The museum also had some other cool art - including some Dali and Picasso - which I wasn't really expecting from what looked like a casual wee gallery with free entry.

I spent the rest of the day cafe hopping and sampling some of Colombia's amazing coffee. Jos was due to arrive into Bogota at 11pm and we'd arranged to go for a few drinks to catch up. Neither of us had eaten it turned out, so instead of going to a bar we had Arepas and beer in a local fast food place and sat discussing our respective Ecuador adventures until 4am.
