Blue on Green

11.1C at the Met.Office weather station at Leuchars. Disappointingly cloudy today, then rain through the afternoon. Light breeze.

Maeve the deerhound was out in the back garden all morning again. I potted up the bush tomato plants into big pots and returned them to the greenhouse, moved the sunflower and cosmos seedlings to cold frames and watered all the pots.

Maeve and I went for our walk after lunch. We went up to the church then continued out along the country road to Scryne. We turned right at Craigmill farm and went down the track to the shore road. We came back along the cycle path and went down to the beach at Westhaven via the level crossing.

Down on the beach the tide was well out. Valhalla A was beached on the seaweed at the shore end of the channel through the rocks. There was another smaller boat pulled up on the beach nearby.

We came up off the beach at the fishermen's huts, walked along East Row then came back over the road bridge over the railway line and back up the road to the shore.

The rain came on not long after we arrived home.
