Up in the air ..............

 .................... above Leith/Newhaven near Edinburgh - as promised yesterday, a photo from the plane window.

Am pretty sure that the large, light coloured ship you can see centre right is the Royal Yacht Britannia.

UPDATE:  Thanks to Skeena for pointing out that the RYB is dead centre of my photo - with a blue hull and white top ..... sitting below what looks like a big billboard (but is actually a building!!) - thanks so much, Skeena - all the times I have been up here I have never been down to look at the yacht!!!!! 

I left London in beautiful warm sunshine and arrived in Edinburgh to cool, grey, drizzly rain ....... I am in a hotel that I have never used before - a very oddly arranged room, none of the electrical equipment has been tested for at least two years (according to the labels on them) and the net (privacy) curtains could do with a good wash ..... towels and bedding are clean though - it's not cheap either ..... shan't be booking this one again!!!!  Still it's only for the night - am out of here at 06.00 in the morning to pastures new (ish) - and who knows what tomorrow will bring blipwise  :-))
